Square Society kicks off the 2026 show season
The 2026 show season officially kicked off for Square Society last weekend as members gathered at Too Fast Too Filling for the Breakfast & Boxes Season Opener.
The morning started with thick fog on the drive over, but by the time everyone arrived it had cleared to a grey sky. It may have been a little cold, but the weather held out perfectly and, most importantly, the rain stayed away.
Members travelled in from across the region to meet up, grab some food, and spend the morning surrounded by some seriously clean square builds.
The turnout was fantastic and the car park quickly filled with a mix of Nissan Cubes, Toyota bBs, Honda Stepwagons and other boxy builds, creating a great atmosphere for the first meet of the year.
A Morning of Squares & Breakfast
Breakfast & Boxes has always been about keeping things simple: good food, good people, and a relaxed meet to bring the community together.
Too Fast Too Filling once again provided the perfect setting, with members enjoying breakfast while chatting about builds, upcoming plans for the show season, and catching up with familiar faces.
Despite the chilly start, plenty of people stayed around throughout the morning, talking cars, taking photos, and enjoying the laid-back atmosphere that these meets are all about.
It was also great to see some new members joining us for the first time, which is exactly what these meets are designed for.
Cleanest Car Competition
For the first time in a long while, we decided to bring back a Cleanest Car competition for the meet.
It’s not something we normally run at our Breakfast & Boxes events, but with so many clean builds turning up we thought it would be a great opportunity to add a bit of friendly competition to the morning.
The standard was incredibly high, and there were some seriously well-presented cars on display. Huge thanks to Des and the team at Too Fast Too Filling for kindly donating the prizes.

Both winners walked away with prizes from Too Fast Too Filling along with some Square Society goodies.
A Great Start to the Year
Breakfast & Boxes proved to be the perfect way to start the year and build momentum for the 2026 season. With plenty of events already planned for the months ahead, this was just the beginning.
A huge thank you to everyone who came along and helped make the morning such a success.
