As we move into 2026, Square Society continues to do what it has always done best — evolve naturally, build on strong foundations, and keep the community at the heart of everything it does.
Rather than treating the new year as a reset, 2026 represents a step forward. A year to refine what already works, invest back into the club, and continue creating experiences and products that feel intentional, well thought out, and genuinely exciting for members.
This post gives a look at what Square Society is planning for the year ahead — from the events we’re aiming to attend, to the next chapter of the Square Society store.

Events We’re Planning to Attend in 2026
Events remain a core part of Square Society, and 2026 will see the club continuing to show up across the UK at a mix of established favourites and carefully chosen new opportunities.
Rather than attending everything possible, the focus this year is on events that suit the Square Society vibe, allow members to display their cars properly, and give the community space to connect both on and off the stand.
For 2026, Square Society is planning to attend the following events:
Rustival (New to Square Society)
Japfest (Returning)
Jap Show
JDM Jam (New to Square Society)
JDM Combe
Japanese Day
Tunerfest North
The Reunion Show (New to Square Society)
Go Japan! (Returning)
Alongside larger shows, Square Society will also continue to organise and attend:
Club meets (Breakfast And Boxes)
Event pre-meets
Scenic runs and relaxed community drives (Boxes & Backdrops)
As always, full event details — including booking instructions, deadlines, and pre-meet information — will be shared through the Square Society website and social channels once plans are confirmed.
Event attendance may evolve throughout the year, but the aim remains the same: turning up together, representing the club properly, and making the most of every event we attend.
Showcasing Member Builds
Alongside events and meets, 2026 will continue to create more opportunities to showcase the cars — and the people — that make Square Society what it is.
Throughout the year, members can expect more chances to have their builds featured across Square Society platforms, whether that’s through event coverage, social posts, or dedicated features. These showcases are about celebrating the variety, creativity, and individuality within the club, from daily-driven squares to long-term projects.
In 2026, Square Society will also be bringing back its dedicated Me, Myself & I blog segments. These features give members the opportunity to tell their own story — sharing their journey, their build, and their personal love affair with their square. It’s a chance to go beyond the car itself and highlight the people, memories, and motivations behind each build.
Member of the Month will also continue throughout 2026, giving members another way to get involved, put their car forward, and be recognised as part of the wider Square Society story.
What’s Next for the Square Society Store
Another major focus for 2026 is the continued evolution of the Square Society store.
Over the years, the store has become more than just a place to buy merch — it plays a key role in supporting the club and funding future plans. In 2026, Square Society will continue to release merch alongside its existing ranges, with refreshed designs and new pieces added throughout the year.
Merch remains an important part of the club, not just as clothing or accessories, but as a way for members to represent Square Society at events, meets, and beyond. New items will be released as and when they’re ready, keeping things intentional rather than rushed, with a continued focus on quality, fit, and designs that feel true to the Square Society identity.
Alongside this, Square Society is also taking an important step forward by investing back into itself.
During 2026, plans are in place to begin producing stickers in-house, allowing Square Society to take full control of the creative and production process.
This move will allow for:
Full control over colours and finishes
Greater flexibility with sizes and formats
Improved consistency and quality control
Faster turnaround on new designs
Limited runs and experimental ideas that weren’t previously possible
Bringing production in-house isn’t about producing more for the sake of it — it’s about doing things properly, maintaining high standards, and ensuring everything released feels intentional and unmistakably Square Society.
Why This Matters to the Community
Everything Square Society does exists because of its community.
Investing in events and in-house production means members can expect:
Better quality products
More creative freedom
New ideas that can be tested and refined
A club that continues to evolve without losing its identity
It also ensures Square Society remains independent, flexible, and community-led — able to adapt, improve, and grow without compromising what makes it special.
Looking Forward
2026 is shaping up to be an exciting year — not because everything is changing, but because Square Society is continuing to build with purpose.
There’s more to come, more plans to share, and more moments to create together throughout the year. Whether it’s attending events, supporting the store, or simply being part of the conversation, every member plays a role in shaping what comes next.
Thank you for being part of the journey — here’s to everything ahead in 2026.
