From Local Map To Worldwide Community

What started as a small UK members map has grown into a worldwide community of square car enthusiasts.

Back in 2020, we launched the original Square Society Members Map — a simple community project designed to show where our members and builds were located across the UK.

The response was incredible. What started as a fun idea quickly became one of the best ways to visualise the growth of the club and connect members from all over the country.

At the time, Square Society had reached 459 members — a huge milestone considering the club had only launched in 2017.

In May 2025, work began on rebuilding the map from the ground up with a bigger vision in mind. As the community continued to grow internationally, it became clear that the project had evolved into something much larger than a UK members map.

Now, with more than 1,300 members and builds appearing across multiple countries, the project has evolved once again into what is now known as The Global Grid.

The Global Grid is more than just a map — it’s a growing archive of the worldwide square car community and the people behind it.

Every submission helps show just how far box life has spread.

To join the Global Grid, simply fill out the form above. If you own multiple square vehicles, feel free to submit each build individually.

For privacy reasons, personal names will never be displayed publicly on the map.

The interactive map is updated weekly.
